A settling floor or foundation does not necessarily mean demolition

GEOLIFT geopolymer injection technology allows you to strengthen the ground and raise the floor and stabilize the foundation quickly, accurately and with minimal disruption.

A settling concrete floor, marginal foundation settlement or weak soil under structures is not just an aesthetic problem. In industrial buildings, warehouses, retail premises or private homes, such a situation can directly affect the daily use of the facility. The floor becomes uneven. Racks and equipment lose stability, become out of alignment and stop working. Doors or gates no longer work as they should. Cracks appear in the concrete. In some cases, voids form under the floor or foundation due to weak soil, construction errors, insufficient compaction or water movement under the structure.

Traditional solutions are often complex: it is necessary to dismantle the floor, remove old concrete, re-prepare the base and re-concrete. In industrial or commercial facilities, this means downtime, dust, noise, waste removal and often direct financial losses.

GEOLIFT offers a different solution.

Stabilization of floors and foundations without extensive demolition

GEOLIFT technology is based on the injection of special geopolymers under floors, foundations or into the soil. During the work, small holes are drilled in the structure through which the geopolymer is precisely injected into the intended places and the required depth.
The material expands in a controlled manner, fills voids, strengthens the base and, if necessary, allows the accurately lifting of the settled structure. The result is a more stable and solid foundation without extensive demolition.

This is especially important in facilities where time and continuity of operations are of great importance.

Why is this important for business?

The repair of a production building, warehouse or retail premises is not only the cost of construction work. Often, greater losses are caused by the suspension of operations.

If replacing a floor means stopping a production line, disrupting a warehouse, or closing part of a facility, the actual cost of the repair may far exceed the estimate for the work itself.

In most cases, the GEOLIFT solution can be applied in stages (zones). If necessary, work is planned for evenings, nights, or in a way that minimizes disruption to daily operations. This is especially relevant for manufacturing companies, warehouses, logistics centers, retail spaces, and other facilities where floor stability, evenness, and rapid return to service are critical.

GEOLIFT technology can be applied to infrastructure facilities, foundations, slabs and weak soil areas where stabilization is needed without extensive demolition.

Where can GEOLIFT technology be applied?

The GEOLIFT solution is suitable for a variety of facilities and situations, including:

  • sagged concrete floors;
  • foundations (including slabs);
  • voids under floors or foundations;
  • warehouses and logistics centers;
  • industrial buildings;
  • retail and commercial premises;
  • private homes;
  • garages and workshops;
  • infrastructure facilities.

Common signs to look out for include: floor subsidence, cracks in concrete, malfunctioning doors or gates, unstable racks, subsidence at the foundation, and problems with equipment that requires a stable surface.

What does the process look like?

First, the condition of the object is assessed: type of structure, soil properties, extent of subsidence, and possible causes of the problem. If necessary, geological information is analyzed or additional studies are recommended.

Then, a work plan is prepared: where to inject geopolymer, at what depth, in what quantity, and for what purpose. During the work, the reaction of the structure is constantly monitored, and stabilization or lifting is carried out in a controlled and precise manner.

The process is precise and localized. Instead of large-scale demolition and restoration work, only the problem area is affected.

Why is it worth responding immediately?

Floor or foundation subsidence rarely stops on its own. If the cause is weak soil, water movement, or voids under the structure, the problem can increase over time. Initially, a small unevenness can later turn into larger cracks, structural damage or disruptions to work processes. The earlier the problem is assessed, the greater the chance of solving it with smaller-scale work, faster and at lower costs.

GEOLIFT helps assess whether floors or foundations can be raised and stabilized

If your facility has a subsidence in the floor, foundation or base, the first solution does not necessarily have to be demolition and new concreting. After collecting data on the structure, acting loads and soil properties, we will assess the situation and offer an appropriate solution.
